About
Red Flame
Red Flame has been in operation since Ferbruary 2006. It was co-founded by drummer/audio engineer Adam Burwash and guitarist/producer David Andrew Wiebe. At the time, the basic philosophy of Red Flame was to offer quality recording services at affordable prices. Red Flame went on to record CDs and design CD artwork and merchandise for a variety of local artists and bands.
In August 2010, Wiebe became the sole proprietor of Red Flame. Along with new ownership came many changes. Red Flame still offers quality creative services, but is geared more towards services that Wiebe has already offered for years.
- Audio production is still a cornerstone to the company, and is offered at the same affordable rates.
- Music lessons are now a major offering from Wiebe who has had over 9 years of teaching experience.
- Workshops are now offered for musicians, songwriters, engineers, and enthusiasts alike.
Wiebe also has plans for future expansion with Red Flame. To learn more about these plans, take a gander at the areas of expansion page.
David Andrew Wiebe
David Andrew Wiebe's fascination with music started at an early age. In his formative years, he could be found banging on pianos, detuning guitars, humming video game music, and writing his own melodies. However, it was not until many years later that he started to pursue it wholeheartedly.
At age 14, he started writing his own songs in Japanese. At age 15, he performed a rap in front of an audience for the first time. At age 17, he began learning the guitar. These events led to a long lasting passion for guitar, music, and production.
Without getting into his long list of qualifications (including but not limited to: hundreds of live performances, years of technical theory and knowledge, an extensive list of production credits) it is safe to say that Wiebe is an experienced craftsman. Wiebe continues to explore the realms of songwriting, guitar playing, audio production, and other creative pursuits today.
