Upon listening to David, you would assume he was born with a guitar in his crib, but alas, that is a falsehood. When listening to his music, you're immediately struck with a diversity of sound from blues to rock anthems to funk and classical ballads. His lyrics speak of challenge - a challenge to live your life like you believe it. He offers insight into optimism, loss, relationships, risk, and memory, among other subjects.
